Valentines Extra Value Meal
Just a quick note for those romantics out there.
When in McDonalds last week, nursing a giant Diet Coke waiting for the sports shops to open, the enormous TV was blasting out nonsense to rot the minds as well as the bodies of the patrons. Not only were there adverts for the, it seems to me, nigh-unwatchable Mizzz Potturr starring Rene Zellweger but McDonalds were providing a service to all the Singapore charmers.
Simply text your message to a five digit number and they’ll play the message on the nationwide in-restaurant screens, from 7PM on Valentines day, to tell your loved one that not only do you think she’s marvellous but that you only wanted to spend less than a tenner on dinner for two.
Romance is not dead, it’s just been processed and cooked in beef fat.
